I just published my October arrangement (Praise Him, Praise Him) to my sheet music page.

This is an arrangement aimed at Thanksgiving. I don’t do much in 6/8 because it just starts to feel a bit bouncy. This is a bit bouncy but hopefully a good bouncy. I will talk about what I am doing here in a few days but for the moment, I will just say it is probably early advanced and give you an easy way to simplify it if you want.

What I want you to notice is that after the verse, I do a long development section (starting in bar 53) where I am repeating the same eight bars four times, getting a bit harder each time. If you want, you can bail on that section after any of those eight bars and skip to bar 85. No one will know. For example, if you find that last eight bar section (76-84) too hard to play with the 16th notes, just leave it out.

Here is a demo of me playing it. If you don’t see a video below, click here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xyTQWIDzNts

I loved this! I loved the style of it, especially the treble. This is my preferred style, with embellishments I wouldn’t have thought of on my own.
