Just wanted to say that I've truly been blessed by your beautiful playing. I'm a church pianist myself (my husband and I have been in the ministry since 1976), and when I was growing up and developing my hymn playing, my mother would always tell me "play the WORDS"..."the message must get across"...runs and "acrobatics" are only good if they match the words and are played "in the Spirit."

I do not recall if I wrote to thank you for this excellent recording. I think it was a year or two ago that you gave it to me at the Quartet Convention. We were so blessed as we listened to it. We really enjoy the hymns. You play with a very sensitive touch and the meaning and spirit of the songs comes through with great clarity. To put it mildly, we are very impressed! A lot of people can play notes and can impress with their skills, but there are few who have the sensitivity that comes through your touch on the keys.
